My Philosophy of Education

My philosophy on education is that every child CAN learn! As an educator it is my responsibility to make sure that each child has the opportunity to be a unique individual who has a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which they can grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. I will help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. A bit of faith in a child goes a long way, and in my class I promise that this is what each child will receive. Teaching is a lifelong learning process of learning about new viewpoints and new approaches, learning from the parents and community, and especially learning from the children. Children have taught me to open my mind and my heart to the joys, the innocence, and the diversity of ideas in the world.
